CM Punk VS Jeff Hardy:Differences is Matter

Hello Guys,i want to rest but i also want to read this little stupid article.Yeah i want to ask you to look back to 2009.This time i want to write the topic about the most memorable feud in WWE history in 2009 between former WWE and now TNA Superstar Jeff Hardy and CM Punk.

But at first i like to tell you about the background of this 2 superstar,and we start from my fav superstar Jeff HARDY!


Jeff Hardy came to WWE in 1993 alongside his brother Matt Hardy.Only about 16 years old,Jeff worked as a jobber (wrestler who lose consistently to his opponent to make the opponent look stronger).After few years,the Hardy Brothers finally finally earned the contract and was sent to RAW brand before traded to Smackdown! along with their valet Lita.Jeff and Matt look good in tag team divission which saw them win tag team champs multiple times.WWE even credited them as one of the most popular tag team in history below many legendary tag team like D-Generation-X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) or Hart Dungeon (Jim and Bret Hart).In 2003,the Hardys seperate ways.Jeff Hardy start a single competition winning European title.Few months later,Jeff was released due to his responsibility with Drugs.

And now we go to CM Punk!

Punk gained his fame from his backyard wrestling and numerous small wrestling show (mostly Independent).CM Punk go to ROH (Ring of Honor) that finally raise his name very quickly,and becoming one of the most popular wrestler there in 2003 until 2005 however his name didn`t to known well to the world yet.A year later,Punk sign a contract with newly return ECW brand in WWE.Surprisingly for the new guy,Punk becoming ECW main star at the time.This time Punk becoming a main eventer despite only recently with WWE.He once held the ECW Champion.This maybe because of his life style of being straight-edge (alcohol free,tobacco free,drug-free),he is accepted to the people in the "Land of Extreme".After ECW,Punk go to RAW,and from here,his fame grow larger than before.

From the story above,we can see,both superstar had a diffrent story.but this is not stop until that.....the hottest story is just begin!

Both Hardy and Punk is a fan favorite wrestler at the time.Before they proceed to the ultimate 3 months feud in summer of 2009,Hardy and Punk occasionally teaming up together.their 1st teamed up was in 2006 `s WWE Survivor Series.Jeff and Punk was in team DX lead by Triple H.That Survivor series match even set up for record of the event,where all members of team DX is still remaining until the match ended.

Punk and Hardy teaming up once again in 2007 where they teaming up alongside edge and Matt Hardy againts King Booker,Finlay,Orton and Kennedy.coming 2009 Jeff hardy and CM Punk teaming up alongside Rey Mysterio,Ricky steamboat and John Cena on monday night RAW.

Jeff then feuding with his brother Matt at Wrestlemania XXV after he costed Jeff the WWE Championship from him while Punk make his way to the money in the bank ladder match (Punk won the match)

The last time both as a friend was against Matt Hardy and Kane which they lost after Matt roll up Jeff.Jeff then continue his feud with his brother while Punk also feuding with Umaga in the mid card level match.

After the defeating Matt Hardy,Jeff feud with Edge over the World Championship.After initially failed,Jeff Finally Jeff won the title in WWE Extreme Rules 2009 where Jeff Defeated Edge in a Ladder match.

But right after Jeff Hardy won the title,suddenly CM Punk appear and cashed in his money in the bank contract on Hardy.Hardy unable to put up a good fight because he is already battered of the ladder match and lost the title to Punk after only 3 minutes become Champion.This finally iginited the feud that highlighting 2009.CM Punk slowly turn into Villanious character after continue to mocking Jeff about his lifestyle of drug past and claim he willl never be a champion like he was.3 weeks after that,CM Punk faced Hardy in a rematch at WWE The Bash.Jeff Hardy win the match............But only by disqulification.Sadly,Jeff Hardy once again failed to regain his Championship from Punk.CM Punk furthering mocking Jeff after this,making Punk being hated by WWE universe that mostly Hardy`s fans.

The feud mostly,being backgrounded by their lifestyle.Jeff Hardy had a problem with drugs in his past just like I told you above while CM Punk believed in his straight edge lifestyle.After some grueling words each other,General manager of Smackdown at the time Teddy Long,Make another match between Jeff Hardy and CM Punk.This turn out to be Hardy`s last chance to unseat Punk from the World Heavyweight Champion.The match take place at Night of Champion 2009!

At the event PPV,right before the match,CM Punk again,insulting the audience that believe with Hardy over himself.However it is right action speak louder than words.........JEFF HARDY DEF.CM PUNK!!!!!!

I`m so remembered that night,all fans cheered in wild at Hardy`s victory!Their hero finally do it again for the 3rd time (yes!!!Jeff Hardy won WWE Championship once and World Heavyweight Championship twice)

                  (7 weeks of waiting is over Jeff Hardy.He finally reaching his dream again!)

But this was far from over.............CM Punk finally show his true color as a villain by attacking Hardy not only by words,but now with physical assault.Punk also managed to badly injured Hardy with the steel chair,and nearly forcing Jeff to vacate his title.But Jeff stated that he`s not gonna down easily despite his injury.
Because of this,Teddy Long then decided to gave CM Punk his rematch at Summerslam.But this rematch would Jeff Hardy style in the TLC Match!Jeff keep his championship,however he was easily beaten down following week by the Hart Dynasty in the handicap match.After the match Jeff`s injury was almost upstaged by Punk.Fortunately,Jeff was saved John Morrison and yes his brother Matt!

Following weeks the Hardys teaming up again alongside Morrison to beat the Hart dynasty and CM Punk.But this is still about Hardy and Punk.

The Stage was set at Summerslam 2009 in the TLC match.The fans was excited as the match was Hardy`s main style.During the match,Jeff swanton bombed Punk from the ladder through a table where Punk was.However,CM Punk regaining the title from Hardy after the epic battle between the 2 saw them injuring each other.Punk punch the champion down from ladder and grab the title for a victory.But this match was arguable as the most epic match of the feud.Punk showing still standing behavior despite that he never compete in this type of the match while Hardy showing he was the veteran of this match.

Following Smackdown,the feud between the two finally came to an end.Jeff invoking his rematch against Punk in the dangerous steel cage match.Punk added the stipulation that the loser must leave the company which Hardy agreed.

CM Punk able to retain the title after thumb to the eyes,and escape the cage winning the match,saving his contract and championship while Jeff Hardy is gone from WWE.

Before he go,Jeff Hardy say one last speech about his departure:

  "First of all, I'm sorry if I've let anybody down. I'm sorry that now you'll be seeing CM Punk instead of me on SmackDown. But it's been one HELLUVA RIDE, hasn't it? I just wanna thank all of you and I wanna let you know that this is not goodbye forever, this is only goodbye for now. And if the time is right, I'm sure I'll see you in the future. Thank you all. Hey, but at least Matt's back on my side, there's still a Hardy on this show! Yours truly Jeff Hardy, ours truly this life."

As Hardy walk down back to the locker room,he ambushed by Punk from behind also for one last time.Few weeks later CM Punk lost his World Heavyweight Championship to the returning Undertaker.

Both Punk and Hardy awarded the annual Slammy Awards later that year December.Punk won the trophy after becoming "Shocker of the Year" when he banish Hardy from WWE.Jeff Hardy won the trophy of "Extreme Moment of the Year" after he perform a swanton bomb to CM Punk from 20 ft ladder.

Until today,i still believe that Jeff gonna return to WWE.I`m also believe,he gonna raise in glory again and of course no drugs no alcohol for him this time.We all know even CM Punk himself now is the fan favorite,but this doesn`t meaning that someday he would back as a Villain once more.
